Base Bio
Just A Rather Very Intelligent System (J.A.R.V.I.S.) is Iron Man's artificially intelligent computer. He runs Stark's home and Stark Tower and also communicates with him in all his Iron Man Armors. He is very useful in pointing out the weak spots in the enemies Tony's fighting as well as offering advice on other things, usually in a tastefully sarcastic manner. J.A.R.V.I.S. seems to possess a higher level of intelligence than most systems since he was able to find a way to save his creator without being prompted to do so first. He is also noted for being able to engage in and maintain witty banter with Tony.
AU Bit
In order to increase efficiency, Tony created multiple android bodies for J.A.R.V.I.S. to deploy as well. And, in this way, he could better honor the memory of his former butler whom J.A.R.V.I.S. was based on. J.A.R.V.I.S. doesn't use the bodies often, but he is still capable of controlling Tony's home and the Stark Tower while he is doing tasks in a separate body. This also acts as another outlet for him to better aide Tony in both everyday tasks and dangerous situations.
Like the Iron Man suits, J.A.R.V.I.S.'s bodies are armed though only the battle-ready one has the possibility of flying as well. The domestic ones do not.
